Enore Panetta

Enore was admitted to practice in 1998 after graduating from the University of Western Australia with First Class Honours in Law. Since 1999, he has specialised in defendant insurance related work, developing his practice with particular focus on acting for and advising medical and other health professionals in the defence of claims for professional negligence, disciplinary proceedings, inquests and statutory bodies. Prior to establishing Panetta McGrath, Enore was a Special Counsel in the litigation and dispute resolution group at a large national law firm.

He regularly provides educational lectures, briefings and seminars to keep clients abreast of developments.

Enore is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia, Australian Insurance Law Association and the Australian Professional Indemnity Group.

Gemma McGrath

Gemma qualified as a lawyer in Queensland, obtaining a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 1993 and a Master of Laws in 1997.

Prior to undertaking her law degree, Gemma completed her General Registered Nursing training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and then went on to complete her Bachelor of Nursing at Queensland University of Technology. Gemma worked in a number of Queensland public and private hospitals, specialising in Intensive Care.

Since moving to Perth in 1998, Gemma has practiced exclusively in the area of defendant based insurance litigation, with a primary focus in medical treatment liability claims.

She acts for a number of medical defence organisations and public and private hospitals, representing the members and staff of such organisations in court proceedings, coronial inquests and disciplinary proceedings.

Julia Wilcock

Julia graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Hons) in 1991 and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1994.

Since 1999, Julia has specialised in defendant healthcare and disciplinary matters. For many years, she worked for Hempsons, one of the UK’s largest defendant healthcare practices, which provides services to the National Health Service and the wider medical profession.

During that time, she resolved civil claims covering the spectrum of medical specialities, including matters of maximum severity. She gained extensive experience in the litigation process and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

After moving to Australia in 2006, Julia requalified and was admitted to practice in New South Wales and Western Australia in 2007. She advises on defendant medical negligence and disciplinary matters.

Stella Pelle and Angela Ielati

As joint office managers, Stella and Angela take care of the smooth running of the Panetta McGrath office, as well as undertaking secretarial and receptionist tasks.  

Both Stella and Angela joined us from national law firms where they each had over 10 years of experience in the insurance litigation department.
