Morgan joined Panetta McGrath in 2019, initially as a Law Clerk undertaking a variety of research and other tasks for the Health Law and Employment teams. Upon the completion of her law degree in 2020, Morgan continued working at Panetta McGrath as a Law Graduate, primarily in the Health Law and Motor Insurance teams. She is currently a Solicitor practising in our Health and Aged Care team.

Morgan advises health practitioners, hospitals and insurers on all aspects of patient care. Her expertise includes advising clients and insurers on a wide range of matters, such as complex civil litigation disputes (medical negligence and public liability claims), Board investigations and disciplinary proceedings, and criminal proceedings related to professional duties (e.g. practising without a registration). She has assisted in cases across all specialties and areas of practice including obstetrics, complex/catastrophic injuries, oncology, orthopaedics, general surgery, dentistry and neurology.

Throughout her experience at Panetta McGrath, she has gained an understanding of civil procedure and regulatory process, having appeared in the District Court of Western Australia in several interlocutory matters, and assisted in matters involving the State Administrative Tribunal, Magistrates Court and Supreme Court. She appreciates the impact that legal proceedings and related matters have on health practitioners on a personal level, and helps clients navigate these difficult processes with empathy and respect.

Morgan was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia and High Court of Australia in 2021. She attended the University of Western Australia from 2015 to 2020 and holds a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Science (Psychological Science and Human Biology).

Morgan is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia.
