We are pleased to announce that, effective 1 January 2025, Caley Catto has assumed the role of Principal Lawyer – Practice Leader for our Criminal Defence team.
Caley’s promotion is a testament to her outstanding performance, expertise, and commitment. Her skill and reputation are highly respected by clients, colleagues, barristers, and the wider criminal law industry.

In 2025, we will be expanding the team to support this growth and further enhance our capabilities.
Caley represents clients in all aspects of criminal defence, ranging from minor matters in the Magistrates Court, to serious sexual offences, drug offences, or serious assaults, in the District and Supreme Courts.
In both 2021 & 2024, Caley was listed by Doyle’s Guide as a Rising Star in Criminal Defence Law in Western Australia.
In addition to criminal defence, Caley practices in professional disciplinary law and advises and represents medical, dental, and allied health professionals in disciplinary proceedings in the State Administrative Tribunal, Ahpra investigations, and Coronial Inquests. Caley has a particular expertise in the intersection between criminal and disciplinary matters arising for health practitioners and can manage both proceedings skillfully.
